Inspiring Growth and Perseverance

Thank you for guiding me through the path of History. Thank you for always encouraging me to not dwell on failures at the present but rather look forward for doing better in the future. Being a foreign student, I had a lot of catching up to do when I first started school in River Valley (RV) in year 1. I was on the verge of tears and giving up when I failed almost every subject in my very first examination in Singapore and one of them was History. Despite this, you comforted me, told me where I went wrong and how I should have written. You told me that that was not the end, but the beginning. And because of that, I persevered, worked extra hard and achieved a satisfying grade at the end of the year.
